For more than 30 years, the Charleston Friends of the Library has been doing what Friends do best: graciously giving our time, talent, energy, and resources to ensure that the entire Charleston community has access to a first-rate library system. The Charleston Friends of the Library raise money to fund more than 6,000 programs sponsored annually by the Charleston County Public Library.

In order to achieve our goals, we rely on the Charleston community and library friends like yourself.  Your donations of time, money, and books, enable us to continue advocating for and enhancing our library system. The organization helped launch the Black Ink Festival and continues serving as a host annually.
